Visitors

This past week we were thrilled to have our first visitors come to see us in our new house! I was especially excited because it was my parents who made the trip to Tennessee. I know it hasn't been that long but it had almost been 4 months since I had seen them. (The longest it had ever been). My mom and dad flew in on Wednesday evening and we picked them up at the airport. We went out to dinner and headed home. It was so fun for them to see Maddie and give them a tour of our house! Maddie was only 6 weeks the last time they had seen her so it was fun to see how much she has grown. My parents loved how much she smiles and what a happy baby she was. We really didn't do anything too special but I loved having them here. It was nice to have more people around and get to spend some good quality time with them. We showed them around our town and area, played a few games, watched tv/movies, ate good food, etc. Maddie loved having her grandparents here and all the extra attention she got. I was sad that the time flew by and before I knew it, it was time to take them back to the airport. They flew home on Sunday night. I really am lucky to have the BEST PARENTS EVER!
